Learn About Your Cancer Risk Factors
Genetic Testing
Genetic counseling begins with a conversation with a genetic counselor about how genetic information affects your health risk factors, such as family history of cancer. Genetic testing may also may be helpful if you have a known genetic condition or a family history of a genetic condition.
You will undergo a risk assessment and receive education on a suspected condition for which you want to be tested.
Genetic testing involves a simple blood draw, and the results summarize medical management recommendations for you and your family.
