Anderson East MS Endoscopic Center

Colorectal cancer is the third most common form of cancer and the second leading cause of cancer-related death in the western world. More than 655,000 people worldwide die from this disease each year. Many of these deaths could be prevented with regular colon screenings and removal of polyps. Most cases occur between the ages of 50 and 70, while cases before the age of 50 are common if there is a family history of early colon cancer. Regular screenings after the age of 50 are an important tool to save lives.

Introduction

Anderson East Mississippi Endoscopic Center is dedicated to providing our patients with high-quality care performed by attentive doctors and nurses who focus on patient needs as much as the procedures. We understand the reaction many people have to the idea of endoscopic procedures. It is perfectly normal to feel awkward or vulnerable. That's why we believe it is so important to have a friendly, caring group of doctors and staff like we have at Anderson EMEC. Our patients' health is paramount to us, but so is their dignity and privacy.

Anderson EMEC is the only free-standing Endoscopy Ambulatory Surgical Center in the area. Our facilities are modern and spacious with a pleasant atmosphere. Most important, our clinic is staffed by people who care, people who listen and people who understand. Anderson EMEC provides “open colonoscopy” services so anyone can schedule a screening without being referred by their doctor. Contact us today to learn more about the life-saving procedures we offer and to schedule your screening. We are ready when you are.
